Three Apprentices
"Hi again," Fawnpaw mewed to Duskpaw and Owlpaw.
"Hi!!" they both answered happily, then glared at eachother.
"What's up with you two?" she asked, "I've seen you arguing and fighting all the time ever since we became apprentices four sunrises ago." She crouched down to eat her fresh-kill.
The two apprentices and stood silently, then sat down.
"Moongaze's going to take me out to hunt birds later!" Owlpaw mewed excitedly.
"Pah!" Duskpaw spat quickly, "Mudwhisker is going to show me how to fight foxes!"
"Wow!" Fawnpaw exclaimed, "Fight foxes! That's amazing!"
"Yup!" Duspaw replied, feeling very pleased.
Owlpaw stared at his paws, looking defeated. He wanted to impress Fawnpaw.
Windclaw felt a pang of envy as he watched Duskpaw, how easily he managed to impress Fawnpaw!
"Owlpaw!" Moongaze called from the distance.
"Coming..." Owlpaw answered sulkily, padding slowly towards his mentor, his tail drooping.
"What's wrong with him?" Fawnpaw whispered.
"I have no idea," Duskpaw replied, his eyes gleaming with truimph.

A Prophecy (Part 2)
Lionstar looked at his paws, wondering what to do. It's been only two nights after when Swiftstep told him about the prophecy. 'StarClan, what's all this about exiling a warrior that has been loyal for many moons?' he wailed silently, 'Surely he wouldn't do something that would kill the whole Clan!' The LeafClan leader looked up at Silverpelt, his head swirling with questions and uncertainty. He looked up to see Flamepelt, his tail on Fawnpaw's shoulder. Lionstar spun around as he heard a yowl behind him. "Not even one mouse tail!" he heard Mousepaw muttering.
"Be patient," her mentor Tigerstripe replied, "It's leaf-bare so there won't be much prey."
'Swiftstep was right!' Lionstar thought, then he glanced back at Flamepelt, who was going out to hunt. 'He is a loyal and brave warrior,' Lionstar told himself firmly, 'I know he would never do something that will hurt the Clan.' He decided to forget about this until StarClan sends something clearer, so he glanced around the camp to see if any cat is having trouble. Lionstar noticed Fawnpaw sitting near the apprentices den, grooming herself with a delicate paw. Owlpaw approached the she-cat quietly, but then Duskpaw suddenly appeared, pushing Owlpaw away. Duskpaw trotted over to Fawnpaw and began talking to her, their pelts so close that they are almost brushing. Owlpaw hissed, then sat on the other side of Fawnpaw, his tail beind her. The two male apprentices began arguing about something. Fawnpaw stood up, and padded over to the fresh-kill pile. Lionstar let out a mrrow of amusement, and carried on watching. Windclaw was also watching the pretty apprentice fetching a mouse, and the two apprentices still arguing. Strangely, Lionstar could feel a pang of envy, so he turned away and went inside his den.

A Prophecy
Lionstar stretched luxuriously as the sunlight shone onto his den floor. He padded out of the leader's den and scanned to camp to make sure everything is okay, he saw Willowfall, a brown female warrior, bringing her apprentice Fawnpaw outside. The LeafClan leader smiled, all had been peaceful for moons, and he hoped nothing will disturb it. He disappeared back inside his den.
Lionstar scented one of his Clan cat outside. "Lionstar?" a soft voice called. "Can I talk to you?"
"Yes, of course," the leader replied, "Come in."
A pretty tortoiseshell she-cat came into the den, looking worried.
"What is it, Swiftstep?" Lionstar asked, "Nothing bad, I hope."
"I'm not very sure," Swiftstep meowed, "I have recieved a prophecy from StarClan last night. I had a dream, and I dreamed that I was hunting, but when I scented the air, there was no sign of prey, and a voice said 'This will carry on, then snow and ice shall come to leaf, all will die unless flame leaves...'"
Lionstar stared thoughtfully at the ground, trying to figure out what it means. After a few moments, he finally meowed, "What do you think it could mean?"
Swiftstep hesitated for a few heartbeats, then replied, "I think StarClan could be warning us about prey shortage, but we're already short on prey since it's leaf-bare... I'm sure flame must be Flamepelt and leaf is LeafClan"
Lionstar wasn't really listening to the medicine cat, he combined what the prophecy could mean together. "Prey shortage will carry on, snow and ice shall come to LeafClan, everyone will die..." he murmured, too quiet for Swiftstep to hear, then he gasped, "...everyone will die unless Flamepelt leaves the Clan!"
"Lionstar?" Swiftstep whispered.
But the LeafClan leader just stared at the ground with wide eyes.
"Lionstar, what's wrong?" Swiftstep said again.
Lionstar looked up at the medicine cat, his eyes still wide with shock...
